I've been working!!! either at the office, or volunteering at an agility trial, or trimming the rose bushes and clematis for the summer. And hiding out in books, trying to run away from the stress in my life, mostly work related. I'm stressed because there's so much work to do in so little time, and no matter how I try I'm not perfect. Plus I can't control jerky opposing counsel. I despise a massive percentage of litigators.

Diet goes not so well. up down up down the same 2 lbs, and like SB, it all depends upon where the electronic digital scale is sitting on the tile floor. Seriously yesterday it read 139.2, and this morning it read 137.7

I'm sooooo frustrated, because I'm really behaving, and have been for months. I can't eat much less, or exercise much more.

Laurie, sorry for the frustrations, but sounds like you're eating sensibly and exercising. Wouldn't worry about those cranky scales. Speaking of which, thank you for affirming it's not just SB who finds the digital scales jumpy. I think the tile floor does have something to do with it. I stand as straight and still as I can, and I get weight totals that vary on any given morning. If I weren't so darn honest, I would have pulled ahead of Duffey by now by just accepting the lowest weight. :tongue2:

Can I blame weight gain/failure to lose on stress?????

You wouldn't believe the document I'm trying to draft right now. All I can do is one little section at a time, take a break, think about it, do the next little section, take a break. My brain hurts.
Back to rock pile.

oh my gosh, could it be that Duffey is the front-runner? Should we all send her some boxes of the finest chocolates? :biggrin2:

Go ahead, but it won't work. I"m a scone girl, myself.

Laurie, glad to see you here but wish you weren't so stressed.

I have trouble with my scales that sit on a tile floor whenever someone . . . . . hubby, kids or grandkids . . . . . feels the need to move them.

A truckload of chocolate-covered scones is on the way to Duffey. :tongue2: So far Superbob seems to be no gain, no loss this week, but maybe he can trim another half-pound by tomorrow or Saturday.

Dang! I logged in, ready to post to the new thread, and no new thread!:eek2: Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Maybe I can trim another half-pound per SB's suggestion.
