An unofficial observation from an unofficial source . . . Super Bowl chili is not a banned substance if it results in a no weight loss week for the Caped Superhero.
If it causes a significant weight loss, then obviously it is a banned substance.

Well, gosh, that seems about as fair as the umpire's call in Game Six of the 1985 World Series that cost the Cardinals the title. (Yes, Superbob still remembers such things.) :D

Superbob, lucky is spelled l-u-c-k-y, not g-r-e-a-t. hehe

Who knew that the Kentucky Flash had Steeler connections, or sympathies. Superbob refuses to believe Aaron Rodgers is lucky -- in fact, if his receivers had caught all the throws he put right in their tum-tums, the Pack would have won by three TDs.:D I am a Peyton Manning fan, but I believe Rodgers is on the verge of surpassing all the elite QBs -- Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers -- because of his ability to escape and run when he has to. Ah well, but Superbob is straying from the Throwdown's topic.

Let's just say the Packers must have eaten their Wheaties! :D

Well crap. Just when it looks like things are going good, you find out they aren't.
At noon, our oldest son called and said he'd just been told that he's headed back to Iraq . . . tomorrow. It came like a bolt from the blue. We knew a new rotation was starting, but it didn't look like he'd be going.
He's ok with it. I never am.

Mary, I'm sorry to hear your bad news. Sending a cyber hug << >>

Superbob, I am so the football fan impostor...hehe. I tried my best to get FB friends riled, but no one cared..ha! I picked the Steelers because some people I knew, in the past, who were Packers/Favre fans were big turnoffs and I picked against their team. That'll show 'em..hehe.

254.8 this morning. 258.4 a week or so ago. Can't remember when exactly.

I can honestly say that today I really physically felt better. Like, I feel healthier in general just walking around. Kind of crazy what a difference 10 or 20 pounds will make. A few months ago I was at 270ish and I was NOT feeling well.

Mary, I am sorry to hear your son is going back to Iraq. I will be keeping your son in my prayers. He will be O.K. Keep on eating the twinkies if it makes you feel better.:biggrin2::biggrin2:

I don't know if last weeks reported weight was a false high or what but TheChimp will weigh in tomorrow with a shocking advance for the guys! I have been on the CSD for almost a week now and it seems to be working. I'm feeling better, have more energy and if this damn weather ever settles down I will get out and start walking again, I just can't warm up to walking in the mall.

Hope everyone has had a great week of eating right and managed to lose some weight, I just hope the guys lose more:tongue2: ....... this weeks weight revealed tomorrow:biggrin2:

I'm stuck at home again today, more sleet topped by freezing pellets of snow. They've shut down some major highway overpasses. Last week they sent all the snowplows back to the panhandle.
I promise: This Week I will get on the elliptical some, not just sit on my butt and eat while snowbound, but I probably won't weigh in until Friday.

Not gonna get above freezing until Friday afternoon, and I.don't.do.ice.
But at least this week we have a new modem at the office and I'm WORKING (except for this little break).
Y'all stay warm!
