Wet in coastal Carolina, too -- much needed rain, though. A Monday kind of day -- our usually very reliable car (115,000 miles) wouldn't start -- probably needs new battery; haven't had to replace in many years. Towed to dealers. Managed a soggy walk with Superdawg. Probably won't make it to Y for lacks of wheels. But rest assured, Superbob is being dietarily vigilant, keeping his eyes on the RTSPD prize!

so at 4 on a rainy Monday afternoon, with the car in the shop and no way to get to the gym, a young lady and her mommy deliver four boxes of Girl Scout cookies!

Is this the work of Lex Luthor or ... Duffey? :eek2:

Boy! ... I had a close call yesterday ... I almost had a small milk shake but I paused and played the tape all the way thru ... one small shake would open the door to a brownie then lemon pie and topped off by a cone ... I know myself and that’s the way it would play out ... I pictured Duffey as the devil sitting on one shoulder saying, “go ahead it won’t hurt” and a “thin me” on the other saying “get thee behind me Duffey”:tongue2: .... the little devil lost out:biggrin2:

LOTS of smack going on here lately. Keep it up, I love the entertainment!!! Besides, I'm going to be laughing all the way to the finish line with a victory, whether big or small (insert Vincent Price laughter here).

Seriously, it seems that we're on the right track. Great job Cooker, the small victories equal big success!!!!

We went to a chili dinner/auction and have not gotten rid of the weight bump up from that and card playing night before that. Now a little lower than last week and ramping up my efforts!
