Okay, okay, okay....everyone get well. You can't pick on sick people you know, so you just better get rid of the pink eye and the creeping crud.

Seriously, I hope everyone is feeling better soon.

I weighed this morning. I'm up a half pound, so I'm not fussing.

Cooker, I would have left sooner if you'd only mentioned you were tired of company.:wink2:

Bob, your eye better? Were you able to view the Redskin's game?:wink2:

The eye is somewhat better, good enough to read your jibe about the Redskins, Duffster.:p I have rooted for them through thick and thin for many years but I actually turned them off yesterday. Looked to me like most of them quit; so I quit, too. I am trying to raise my spirits by thinking of Lance Berkman in the Cardinals lineup next summer along with Albert, Holliday, Rasmus....

Now you're talking!:smile2:

Good job Wise on the weight loss! This group means a lot to me too - and that includes you. :) Sorry everybody is feeling poorly - hope everyone gets better soon. Let's hope whatever your family has passes you by Duffey.

Cooker - I dont' kow what to say - having the houseguests out has got to help now. That way laid me some too - but the cruise and post cruise eating is what really did me in. I feel certain if you get back on track more than half of that gained will be gone in no time. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT! keep eating just to pump up for St. Paddy's day. That is too long to wait to get back into your good habits - by then your bad habits will have taken a good hold!

I'm a little freaked today and feel like emotional eating (but I won't.). Surgery is now scheduled for Feb. 2nd. :eek2: On the one hand relieved on the other shaking in my boots (if I had any on that is.) Remember that movie Groundhog day? That wasn't real was it? Better start checking around on other forums besides the throwdown - lots of thoughts running through my mind.

This of course will be in the middle of our St. Paddy's day race - but maybe that will be to my team's advantage. :rolleyes2: I need to get myself whipped into shape best I can beforehand!

So I have this image of The Chimp trying to appease the Crud Monster by offering it heaping vats of banana pudding. Is that how it is, Mr. Chimp? And does it slow down the creeping Crud (which I have begun to capitalize out of sheer respect for tenacity)?:biggrin2:

Rhena, with all the banter (and feeling sorry for myself), I missed this news about the setting of your surgery date. Sending all best thoughts your way, and yes, by all means, explore the other forums and exchange thoughts there as well. I am sure the whole community will want to get your date on the calendar and to support you as you go forward.

Cheers, SB

Rhena,
Not to worry. February 2 is a red letter day in my life (my mom's birthday) so I KNOW all will go well. :smile2: I've put you on the calendar so we're all set! You just relax and think happy thoughts!:smile2:

Yes Bob, the comfort food seems to be doing the trick and we all know the virtue of the banana:biggrin2: ...

Rhena ... Don't know how I missed you date announcement ... I had my surgery in February and I know it is a good month for surgery ... after all it's the heart month ... you will do fine:thumbup:

Rhena,

I didn't think about the February connection, but I, too, had my surgery in February; went in for pre-op on Saint Valentine's Day. It is indeed the heart month, so you are set up with ideal timing. Best to you ....
