Holy Crap:eek2: ... TheChimp has managed to put on 6.5 pounds this week:eek2: ... the brakes are on!!! ... I'm shocked at the gain over the past few weeks but I know where it has come from so I know what to do about it ... I can also tell that the weight gain has had an impact on the way I feel and I know it is not smart for me to let my weight go ... as an aging heart valver I need to take better care ... I am a bit disgusted with myself but it is what it is and time to nip this in the bud ...

I know all of you have done much better but I'm gaining on you fast:rolleyes2: ...

Throwdown Starting Weight: 233
Last Week: 208.5
This Week: 215

I hear your frustration. The thing is, it could easily be any of us in that situation. So, don't be too hard on yourself. I, too, need to step up my game for health reasons. We can take advantage of the coming new year and turn over a bunch of new leaves (or something like that).

I know how your feeling right now Chimp. I don' feel sexier. I feel my pants is going to split open. I've gained some weight myself. Hang in there !!. It will get better.:biggrin2:

Don't feel so bad. Holding the line is about the best anyone can do this time of year. Just try to behave when you can.

I'm up 1.7 lbs from YESTERDAY morning, as a result of a Christmas party last night. - pretty much back to where I was 2 weeks ago. But this will go away again, so long as I get back on the straight and narrow.

Say it ain't so, Chimpster! Surely a week swingin' through the nite spots of NYC burned off some calories.

I guess Superbob will weigh in the morning. He has been walking the Superdawg a lot.

I'm glad to hear you had a great time in NY. Remember the fun time and work on your weight a little at a time. I'll weigh tomorrow and I'm hoping for the impossible a weight loss.
Earline

I want to be the first to post. I am down 4 pounds. I'm trying really hard. I cut out all sweets and all rice, pasta, potatoes. Don't know how long I can hang in. Maybe next week it'll be back up but I hope not.

Well I'm off to do the last of my Christmas shopping.

Have a great day everyone
Earline

Great weight loss, Earline! :smile2::smile2: I stayed the same so I'm content.:smile2:

I had a message from the Chimp that his computer has been struck by a virus and is in the shop.

We await his return and hope he's had a good week curbing the eating.

I am new to the throwdown.Post surgery I weighed 224 pounds.Leaving the hospital I was 214 pounds and have been watching what I eat.No salt on table and this morning i am 208.5 pounds. Now to maintain during christmas.

Welcome bigsidster! You're doing great. Enjoy the Throwdown. We have fun while we fight the good fight of weight loss/maintenance.

Great job Superdawg. You are such a good trainer! Do you hire out?

Phenomenal, Earline! Sure you don't want to bank the loss for the Saint Paddy's Day Race that begins Jan. 2? :p Just kidding -- good goin'! :smile2:
Oh Darn Superbob I never though of banking my loss guess I'll have to maintain next week and that will not be hard to do. LOL
Congrats on your weight loss.
Have a great weekend
Earline

Welcome, bigsidster! Great to have you with us -- and congrats on the weight progress post-op. Look forward to your continuing reports in our jolly Throwdown. :D

Superdawg hires out at a rate of $100 per hour, Wise; check made out to Superbob, keeper of the trust fund. ;)

Superdawg gets a look at Sadie and he might be paying her!
Congrats SB and welcome big Sidsister.

I've decided that I'm going to weigh again after the first of the year, just not sure exactly when. I haven't changed in my resolve, but am having some difficulty eating light enough to lose consistently. It appears that most of my energy will directed toward my mother in the coming days/weeks.

This weekend, Superbob has thrown away, in the middle of the night, half an apple pie and half a large bag of potato chips. Okay, won't go into detail about what happened to the other halves, but removing further temptation is something, right?

BTW, Duffey, Superbob is wondering if you were sipping the eggnog when you wrote this:

"Superdawg gets a look at Sadie and he might be paying her!" : ) : ) : )

Seems to suggest there are two dawgs, one male, one female. There is, of course, one and only Sadie the Superdawg. Or is Superbob just being his usual dense self in reading that line (maybe he needs some eggnog!) ; ) ; ) ; )
