Okey dokey y'all ~~ I'm down 1lb this week for a total throwdown loss of 8.5lbs now. Well, it could be a bit more but my scale doesn't weigh in tenths..

Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy this gorgeous weather..!!

Yahoooooo

Just had to post this ...:biggrin2::thumbup::thumbup:

19th-ranked Gamecocks topple the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide, 35-21, at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Sorry guys, a gain for me this week :frown2:

Last Week: 79.1kg
This Week: 79.6kg

Total Loss: 23.9Kg
Total Pumpkin Race Loss: 4.4Kg

No more pie for me!

That's OK Scott! ... I have had a really hard weekend and this week will prove to be a challenge ... I will be counting on SuperBob to continue to lead the men to victory!!!

Way to go gals! We beat the guys this week by a whopping .6 lbs! 3.3 for the guys and 3.9 for the girlie girls. They just think they have it in the bag - they are counting their gamecocks before they are hatched is what I say! OK so over all they do still have the lead. 28.5 lost to the gals 24.2 lbs - but I still say we can catch them.

The Austin City Limits music fest was awesome! The Eagles still have it going on for sure. Joe Walsh can play licks on the guitar like you wouldn't believe. The festival sure wore me out though - my energy level isn't what it used to be.

In the end I think I may have spilled more wine than I actually drank, but had some really good food.... shame shame :eek: (none of that State Fair fried crap though' This was fine dining.... Meat pie from down Under (Boomerangs it was called) and steak frites sandwich from the best French Restaurant in town.)

But Janie - I'm back in the saddle again. Good going on the loss - you too Cindy and Duffey at least you didn't gain! A goose egg looks much better on the spreadsheet than the dreaded 'red' numbers. Laurie- you just keep recovering....

Speaking of spreadsheets - here is this week's. I think Geckley must be busy with baby stuff. Haven't heard from him in awhile.

Let's try harder girls - We CAN beat the boys!

Correction to Spreadhseet

Dang it all! I miscalculated and did not give the guy with all the consonants his just desserts! He actually lost 4 lbs not 3. So dang it! That means the guys did beat us this week after all :mad2: 4.3 lbs for the guys and 3.9 for the girls.

Rats!

Help!

Help!

Today is Superbobs DIL's birthday and we will head for Carrabas b/c that is her fav restaurant. (And cake afterwards.) I don't want to be obsessive, but is there something you can order at the Big C that will not completely sink you in calories? I see Carrabas doesn't even list calories of its entrees on its website -- I mean even PF Chang's provides that information, so what is the Big C hiding (I know, a lot of little c's)....:mad2::p

Okay, quickly, the Man 'o' Steel needs some good ordering suggestions for Carrabas. Remember, SB needs a good heart-healthy diet so surely you sweet, beautiful gals would not try to sabotage him, would ya?

SuperBob, I don't know that restaurant, but try to order something that is grilled or broiled, like fish or skinless chicken.
NO fries, NO creamy soups, NO gravy, NO sauces. A sprinkle of lemon and herbs is just as nice.
Green salad---NO dressing.

Bina, the NO-NO-NO Goat Lady!:p

Just kidding. I asked and you provided good ideas. Carrabas is one of the most difficult eateries from which to escape unscathed, but I will try. :D

Maybe sometohing like thieir chicken marsala and forgo the pasta side dish and ask for some grilled veggies or something. I know they have those as I was there the other day for one of my b-day dinners. No bread dipping in olive oil - that would be the worst. If you get a ceaser salad with grilled chicken, have them leave off croutons and put dressing on the side. Dip your fork in the dressing then dip in the salad. You use a lot less that way

Who am I kidding! Go for double order of the Fettucine Alfredo!!! No calories in that I'm sure!:p:eek:

Ah indeed, Rhena -- just got back and I see your advice -- I DID get the chicken marsala and brought back half for dinner tomorrow night. SB was a good boy, so he ought to be in good shape for the weigh-in. I know you are happy about that. :D

Good job man of steel! No easy feat. We know because we've been there and probably have never ordered anything on the lite side, but that can change.
