Okay, once we had a Battle of the Sexes. Now it seems to have escalated to a War Between the Sexes. Will we kiss and make up at Halloween? :smile2:

Good luck to all on their weigh-ins this week. (Superbob is in his impartial moderator role right now.)

Superbob is weighing in now. DW insists we are going out to Olive Garden tonight (is she working for you girlies?) -- and the only calorie-counting that goes on there starts at about 1,500. :eek2:

Soooooo... stats for the Great Pumpkin Race for Superbob:

Starting weight: 266.6

Last week's weight: 255.8

This week: 255

Loss for week: .8

Loss for race so far: 11.6

Oooooh, Bob, can I tag along? DH hates Olive Garden (hates pasta in general), and I'm craving lasagna so much I'm considering making my own ricotta cheese (sans added salt, of course) so I can make some.

I'm up a tiny tad, at 133.5 today. Sorry gals, but I'm STARVING after rehab! That's about 1.5 over goal.

I'm the same this week ... I think next week will be tough for TheChimp .... traveling and on return will head to the State Fair for a feast of high carb delecacies....:biggrin2::thumbup:

Starting Weight: 233
Last Week: 195
This Week: 195

Great Pumpkin Race
Starting Weight: 200
Last Week: 195
This Week: 195
Minus 5 For The Race

Yep, better practice puckering up starting now.:biggrin2: You know what they say about making up after fighting with your honey. :rolleyes2::angel:

I'll weigh in tomorrow.:smile2:

Yeah - SB - you are my favorite frenemy until Halloweeen - when you turn into a pumpkin! All in good natured fun.

I think I had a good week. I'm weighing and posting early tomorrow because I took the day off and am headed out to the Austin City Limits Music Festival and there is surely going to be some damage done there with drink and food! I'm especially looking forward to Sunday with Nora Jones followed by the Eagles. There will be lots of walking involved so maybe that'll help burn off some excess calories.

Laurie - no problem with a gain. You are doing great! We've all done it over the course of the race (except the Man of Steel that is....)

Later gators

You have me confused Chimpman. Does the same mean 0 loss? The detail shows a 2 lb loss but 0 is the number that gets you to minus 5 for the race. That's what I'm going with .. no banana cream pie for you! ;) You have my permission to eat all you want at the State Fair.

Sorry ... I will fix it ... same as last week ... no change, no loss, go gain, no pie:rolleyes2:

Beware of funnel cakes at the State Fair, Mr. Chimp. I'll ration out a Moon Pie or two for you instead :eek2:

Wow! -- you have taken up the slack for some of us guys who are slowing down --- the girlies are really in big trouble now! :D

And SuperSpongeBob Square Pants is delighted. He awards MVP of the week honors upon nngbwh!

SB also hereby confers a portion of his super powers upon The Chimp so that he may avoid the perils of State Fair eating (oh, those Italian sausages and peppers on the grill, and those funnel cakes -- Superbob can smell them now! Savor small bites Mr. Chimp and don't go too wild -- remember, those girlies are trying their best to catch us!)

After a walk with Superdawg on perhaps the most glorious beach morning he has ever seen, SB lusted mightily for a box of hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts -- but he resisted, drawing to the max on his superpowers. Perhaps his appetite was whetted (or his appetites) when a pretty young lady walking a Sadie-like dawg remarked that her dawg was getting excited --- and, uh, so she said, was she. :eek2: Uh, uh, she meant about the dawgs, right? SB has not lost enough weight -- yet -- to be sporting his Speedo. :tongue2::tongue2::tongue2:

Way to go Rhena..!!! And "staying the same" is a good thing Duffey..!

Enjoy the concert today - we love Norah Jones and the Eagles..!! You're a lucky ducky getting to go and the weather is spectacular..!!

We'll be up in Austin next weekend for Benise...can't wait!

Well, I had sushi last evening with loads of soy sauce, so I'm weighing in tomorrow morning after I get this salty water to take the exit door..:biggrin2:

Enjoy the concert Rhena. The guys will be singing here...

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting- till the end
We are the champions- We are the champions
:biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

Superbob's DW wants to go to P.F. Chang's tomorrow. This is hot on the heels of Olive Garden. You girlies have gotten to her and made her a Lex Luthor equivalent, haven't you? Just want you to know, SB is onto your game. He is thinking about invoking the SEC football rule --- no goin' out to dinner when there are big SEC games on the tube! :tongue2:

Okay, Rhena, a grudging congrats to you --- now, go enjoy all the food at the festival!

Sounds like the girlies were out to sabotage you with that cheesecake. Gotta watch them! :p But one pound gain is no big deal -- that's part of staying the course.

FYI, think I mentioned a 6-month echo I was supposed to have this week. That got pushed back a month because there had been a scheduling screw-up. So it's mid-November now. They had this nice but terribly incompetent person in charge of appointments -- I gather that has changed now (others may have complained; I didn't), so maybe the whole performance of the cardio office will improve now. It is amazing how one person who is either unfriendly or, worse, incompetent in the central office can taint a whole cardio operation.

Then, there's the one entitled "Superbob: The REAL Man of Steel! : )
