this morning i weighed 262 with clothes and 259 without. My ideal weight is like 180. :(

How does this thread work exactly?

Duff ... you can join in any time ... post your weight or not ... really no rules ... we are just starting up the St Patty's Day Race, guys against gals ... you can join the guy's team or join the Throwdown to lose weight and enjoy the fellowship .... the guys can use you since we whipped the gals las year and had to spot them 5 pounds for the SPDR ... welcome aboard:thumbup:
 
As day three on WW draws to an end I'm happy to report no point overages ... there seems to be a psychic change in Chimpville ... this could mean devastation to the girlie team:biggrin2:

No overages? What about underages? Does this have something to do with Las Vegas over/under lines? Median levels of vats of banana pudding? Picking low-hanging fruit, or what? :p:p:p

I have to get back on track. I haven't been eating wildly, just not right. Regardless of what I'm going through, I don't want to lose control. My mom is eager to go to heaven. She's not in pain, but says she is miserable. I don't want her to keep hanging on and live in misery. I'm working on trying to eat better in the midst of this. Sorry for the diversion, but I know that you all care and wonder what's going on.

So, I hope to soon be a participating member of the Throwdown. My wife has maintained control and still exercise daily. I need to tag along and jump on the treadmill after she gets off. Ugh.
 
Wise, I feel better knowing your mom is ready to meet our Lord. I know you do too. It's hard to let them go, but to everything, there is a season.

Duff Man, here's the way the throwdown operates: you take your weight gain for the week, multiply it by a factor of 10, add a dozen, and subtract zero. It seems complicated, but really it's not. Even the chimp can calculate it.

Duff ... Don't listen to her bull butter ... she knows that even with five pounds spotted the guys are on this like a crow on a curly fry:tongue2::thumbup:

Rhena, you can track me however you want. WW weigh in is Mondays. I'll report Monday's weights on Thursday/Friday, if you'd like. I was down this past Monday, but back to square 1 by Friday, despite behaving all week. That's why I'm frustrated.

Well, it's feeding time at the Zoo! Burgers and salad and fruit (bananas!) tonight.

Laurie now that I absorbed your weight posting email again, I see you were just reporting a gain from Monday to Friday and not necessarily from the last time you officially reported in on Throwdown. I believe it more fair to you to count from your last official weight which was 136.5 by my weigh-in on the site which is a 0 loss by my books. Rules only say you have to weigh sometime between Thurs and Monday evening - so you can pick your day. See if you look at your record from your beginninig weight of the race to Friday - it doesn't look nearly as bad as from Monday to Friday..... :) Don't get discouraged!

Sounds like the guys have already recruited you - whether you agreed to it or not!!! They really will need you as we continue to leave them in the dust..... So, I'll put you on the spreadsheet for this week with a starting weight of 259 and next week's thread you can post your gain (by Mary's formula) or loss if you want to.

We are all happy to have you join us - really!!! It's a good support group if nothing else.

Now I will confess my sins, that I have eaten all weekend long from Friday evening to Sunday evening - lots of bad stuff. Shame on me - just emotional eating is all. Like Mac and cheese - my favorite comfort food. Trying to get back in control today - so far so good.

Cooker you are such a sweet chimp to be soooo concerned I thinkl I'll send you a whole case of moon pies I'm so grateful! :tongue2::rolleyes2:

To Janie and Nelson - I'll fix up the spreadsheet for next week.- oherwise I just waste precious space to do it now. Janie, I'll put your starting week as of week 2 so get busy! Nelson, I'll take you off of unreported detention.:)
