OK ... I have decided not to weigh in until tomorrow ... hopefully this will give me a chance to recover from the snow carb overload:eek2: ... there is just no way for me to stay the course while cooped up .... I have a rare opportunity to take DW to lunch today being schools are still closed but I will try and have a salad:rolleyes2: ... Hope everyone has had a good week, even the girlies:tongue2::tongue2: ...

Lets remember to keep Wise and his family in our prayers....

Thanks for the prayers. I so appreciate it. Praying for Janie and her mom too.

I MIGHT weigh in by Saturday. It all depends. I have not behaved very well. Too much stress eating this week. I wish I was one of those who couldn't eat when they're upset/stressed, but that's certainly not the case.

Wise, you just take care of you now - emotional eating is one of my biggest problems too - but if it gives you comfort then do what you need to (and I'm not saying that to tip the scales in the girl's favor I promise.) My prayers are definitely with you , your mom and family as they are with Janie and the situation she is dealing with with her Mom. It's a tough time.

I'm so fortunate that both of my parents are still healthy and will be down to take care of their 'little girl' during my surgery. No matter how old I am - I still seem to be a little kid to my parents. I'm blessed.

To the rest of you throwdowners out there - three's company and fours a crowd. I'll join you on the scales tomorrow.:cool2:

I'm weighing in, but I'm not happy about it. Today I tipped the scales at 135.9. Sigh. I'm up a pound and a half since Monday WW weigh in.

It HAS to be water. I am exercising, I am journaling everything I eat, and I.Am.Within.My.Points. Absolutely. For pete's sake, I journalled the 2 cups of cheese popcorn I ate yesterday. 5 Pointsplus! Yes, I know it has salt but that's the only salt added food I've eaten all week. I live the life of BLAND.

I'm journaling every coffee creamer, every piece of chocolate from the office snack jars (I've had 2 this week). EVERYTHING.

I walk at least a mile at lunch every day. Then I go home and exercise-walks, elliptical, weights, and/or dog classes. So I'm earning 4 WW ActivityPoints daily, sometimes a couple more.

I'm P.O.'d that I have lost ground this week. I am so tired of working so hard to stay in the same place, and failing.

Superbob has lost one pound (1) this week. Won't bother to haul out steel conversion chart to grab credit for steel weighing more than flesh. :D

Continuing prayers for our Throwndowner families, specifically Wise and Janie, in need at this time.

Good weighing-in to all and to all a good day. :smile2:

Hopefully the girlies will still join us in quaffing green ale on Saint Paddy's Day after we've spanked them in the Great Race. :p

Laurie, even though you are on the "opposing team," Superbob wishes to say: Do not despair! Without a doubt your body is still adjusting after your recent surgery. I remember how frustrated I was six years ago, even after cardiac rehab, that I had lost minimal pounds. We're in this for the long haul. You're doing fine.

SB, I think I'm still paying for the holiday meals and intermittent junk food.

I'm sure I'm still adjusting to the surgery. I've got a bit of post-surgical and mid-winter blues despite being healthier than I've been probably since before my first surgery, and everyday stresses like work and not controlling my weight seem like mountains some days.
Anyway, if emotionally I'm still adjusting, I'm sure I'm still adjusting physicially as well. After all, I still have aches!

At least I'm alive and healthy enough to bitch about minor things, and luckier than lots of people.

Laurie, don't get discouraged. You are doing really, really well. Wise, try not to stress with the weight. You've got enough going on right now. Congrats, SB, on the pound loss.

I should have weighed in yesterday. I was down a pound yesterday but weigh the same today as I did last week.

Where's Cooker?

Last week: 160.5
This week: 160.5

I'm sure the chimp ate salad - with a side of banana pudding! SB - don't forget to add dessert after your salad bar! Good job on the 1lb loss - really!

Last week - 204.6. This week 202.8 equals a 1.8 lb loss. I'm happy with that. I hope I can get under 200 before my surgery. I was discouraged to understand that I might actually gain weight after surgery :frown2: I am hoping for the opposite! I hear your appetite is usually down, but then I won't be quite as active - so maybe they cancel each other out. Really in the end I'll just be happy to be alive - whatever I weigh! :D

Laurie - hang in there! It's tough when you do everything right and still the scales don't cooperate. Focus more on how you feel than pounds lost. Whatever you do don't give up!

I'll check back in later throwdowners! Keep truckin'!

Laurie - I'm a little confused on your weight. I am putting you on the spreadsheet as having gained 1.5 since that is how you reported, but if I took your starting weight, which I deemed to be 136.5 and subtract the .6 you lost last week, by my calculations you stayed the same at 135.9. It's probably a lot easier to stick with you WW weigh in day, so we can just keep it like this unless you disagree.

No loss or gain to report although this past week did have a little yo yo activity ... DW and I have started back with WW (no meetings, just counting points) ... I really like the flexibility of WW, I just like banana pudding better ...:redface2::biggrin2:

St Patty's Day Race Starting weight : 215

Last week : 211.5

This week: 211.5

Cindy wants to post her weight this morning. How she managed to lose weight is beyond me.

CINDY:

Last Week: 146.6

This Week: 145.4

Loss: 1.2

Total Loss for Race: .8

WISE:

Missing in action, be he loves banana pudding better than WW too.

Rhena, you can track me however you want. WW weigh in is Mondays. I'll report Monday's weights on Thursday/Friday, if you'd like. I was down this past Monday, but back to square 1 by Friday, despite behaving all week. That's why I'm frustrated.

Well, it's feeding time at the Zoo! Burgers and salad and fruit (bananas!) tonight.
