Today, this post really is going up on Friday! Usually it is posted early for the sake of convenience, but we've been waiting for the site to return after the maintenance being done on it. Thank goodness, it's back -- I missed it, as I am sure many others did.
Superbob is filling in for the intrepid Chimp this week. Because of everything going on, the Man of Steel hasn't had time to remove his garb and step on the scales -- too much saving of world and self to do! But will weigh Saturday morning, promise!
Superbob's main news is that he has gotten evaluated by the local chiropractor and has a plan going forward starting next Tuesday that entails 30 adjustments and 24 therapies. Was pleasantly surprised to find that my insurance will cover most of this. Maybe insurers are awakening to the reality that alternative forms of medicine can be effective and WAY more cost-effective that surgeries and pricey drugs. I think about all the orthopedists have to offer me for my stenotic back and now pain radiating down the hip and left are epidurals or surgery. I hope to avoid those if at all possible. My chiro and his lovely assistant also serve as exercise and nutrition consultants, so hopefully I will get some of the benefits that personal trainers and dietitians might bring.
Enough about ol' Superbob. How is everything going for the other Throwdowners? :Face-Cool:
