Whut's up, Throwdowners? So do we start a Race to Maintain tomorrow, to last through the New Year's bacchanalia? A great big candy cane to the winner(s) -- actually, if we all maintain, we all will be winners. Then with the new year, we can start working to be losers again. :smile2:

As for physical activity, Superdawg makes sure I walk everyday. I need to also get back to the exercise room. I have tried winter swimming at the Y but find it time-consuming to travel there and handle all the logistics. In the spring, summer, and fall, I will swim in the beautiful outdoor pool lined with palm trees that we have right here in the community. Much more inspiring.

What weight will we use to start the maintenance sprint to New Years? ... I was planning on using last weeks but will be happy t use this weeks ... whatever you guys want to do is okie-dokie with me ...

Also since we don’t seem to have any non USA members weighing in I think I will move to posting on Friday if that is suitable .... or I can keep it the same ... any thoughts either way?

Friday makes sense to me. Thanks.

Friday sounds great to me! I'm definítely going with last weeks weight as my maintain challenge start weight. I'm trying to reinstall sanity into my brain's hard drive, but it keeps crashing.

Friday's good for me.
I intend to get ambitious one of these days and put some energy into deciding that I'm going to lose weight. In the meantime I'm good with trying to maintain until after the holidays.

LOL -- just looking at the Google ads above our thread -- "Electric Cooker"... "Cooker Gas Repair" --- etc. I'm thinking the great Google sensor in the sky picked up on the name of our fearless leader and picked out ads for us. :D (Maybe the one about "gas" fits in here somewhere, somehow. :p Hmmmmm, wonder if Google has some for prune juice, too -- LOL)

Superbob will use his last weight of the Marathon as his maintenance weight, which he is proud to say is the same as his weight this morning -- in other words, despite Thanksgiving feasting and Memphis BBQ, he has not gained a single pound in the past week.

Will post the numbers tomorrow.

After a Superdawg walk, will be hitting the exercise room this afternoon also.

Oh yes, and Superbob finally found a cranberry-orange scone, which are common in the Blue Ridge Mountains but rare here on the Redneck Riviera, at the oceanside Starbucks yesterday. It was the last one they had. SB ate it very slowly and savored every bite. ; )
