No excuses for my gain this week. I know why, when and where it happened. I have been walking this week and I hope to keep it up. I know I'll walk today because.... can you say corn-dog, french fries, elephant ears, mini donuts? Can you say State Fair?!?!?!?!?!

Hope all are well and losing a bit.

RTNYD15 Starting Weight: 230.75
Last Week: 230.75

Today's Weight: 233.50

will weigh tomorrow --my Weight Watchers weigh-in day. Have been doing a little better lately with eating and exercising, but who knows if the scales will treat me nicely.

Dang, I miss having a State Fair nearby. We used to go about every year when we lived in Richmond for a long, long time. (On the other hand, I could go to the Boardwalk at the beach and have a corn dog and brew while watching the ocean and occasional bikinis.)

Have a good time, Cap't Cooker.

I'm down a half pound for the week. I think it would be more if I waited another day, but I'll go with what the scales say today.
Glad to hear that you're walking, Cooker, and I hope the scales are kind to you tomorrow, Superbob. Everyone else, have a good week!
Last week: 151.5
This week: 151.0

So I walked this morning, walk around the the fair and only damage done was a regular sized corn-dog, a bag of mini donuts and a Pepsi ... not bad!!

Good job Dufster ... keep up the good work Bob!!!

Good loss Duffey! Nice moderation at the Fair Cooker. Enjoyed it but not going crazy, no?

I am going to go back to weighing on Mondays. My weekends have been problematic since switching to Friday, so I'm hoping this will keep me more accountable. I'll still check in just a little later in the lap than everyone else. Except for January 1 of course. : )

I am going to run (yes run!!!) my first 5K on Saturday. Wish me luck! I know I can run it the whole way now and that feels good. I couldn't run more than 30 yards three years ago.

I read somewhere that I've been missed? Really?
Well Ive been around....... been watching you guys.

You are all doing so well, but lets start getting tough..........
30 jumping jacks 2x a day.
SB can do half a 'jack' because of his knees.

So how much do you miss me now?
:Happy::Face-Devilish:

Delightful post, Freddie. You are always welcome here, so when we don't see you, of course you are missed! And Bina, too, where is that gal? (I know from FB that she's been having Internet connection problems.)

I am still chuckling over your prescription of "half a jack" for me. LOL I won't say what that brought to my dirty mind. ; )

Also loved your smiley faces -- where did you get those?

Okay, I've got to go get nekkid, weigh, and face the music. (Turning on the stripper music now. ; ) ….

And Dornole -- good luck on your first 5K! Brings back nice memories for me of when I could run 5Ks. I am leading a Mended Hearts team in the annual Heart & Stroke Walk here Saturday week. I think we walk at least a couple of miles, though the distance isn't emphasized.

And fellow St. Louie Cardinals fan Duffey, congrats on your loss! Let's hope the Redbirds have more wins to come, while we have more losses.

I forgot about the dirty minded ppl ........guess it has been a long time lol
The smiley faces are located at the top right corner when you reply. There are three boxes, a paper clip, a capital A that is underlined and the happy face.

I am up 1.9 and not happy. Wondering what is the point anymore. I am old and fat. Might as well just be me and grow a gray beard and with all my extra, natural padding, I could get a job as a department store Santa. Plus Weight Watchers online is not working, literally and technically. Can't post on tracking, messed up. May just cancel for good. The heck with it all.

Don't give in Superbob. You are Super!!

I'm going to flog this book just one more time: The Beck Diet Solution: Think Like A Thin Person. . . . the very first assignment is . . . make a list of Advantages of weight loss and start reading it every day. To remind yourself, what IS the point? Mine is about 30 reasons long . . . on any given day maybe 10 of them make sense to me, and that's enough.

Have a great time leading on the Mended Hearts walk, it's great you are doing that. Just more evidence of Superness which cannot be erased by any number on a scale.

Thanks dornole, I'm done with my pity party now. …. A friend pointed me to something called SparkPeople.com fitness site, where you can track eating and exercise. Looks like a good supplement to WW, or maybe even an alternative. I find the WW site confusing and sometimes messed up.

Used to use sparkpeople. It's pretty fun, and free. I have a jawbone UP bracelet now that tracks steps and sleep and you can also put in food and other kinds of exercise via the ipad/iphone/Android app, I really like using it. The food entry is very intuitive, and it tells you calories in/out and also has short health articles and encouraging comments. Go get 'em Superbob!

Thanks for all your encouragement and good ideas, dornole. It really makes a difference. Today, I'm getting lots of exercise going to grandkids' soccer games -- they are being played on the Market Common complex, part of a former Air Force base, and apparently rules about access for the disabled didn't apply or were overlooked. You have to tote your supplies and walk a long, long way to the fields -- but I'm not grumbling; it's good for my program.

Got on the scales this morning and was UP... walked everyday this week... don't really get it but I'm still pushing forward... good to see Freddie pop back it and good to see all the activity!!!

Keeping my exercise going.... on the way to church DW informed me much to my dismay that I may need to exercise and watch my calorie intake ... gee z ... what next?!?!

:Scared:

I have gotta say I like these big ole smileys! They make me smile . And isn't that what this short life is all about? Sorry to end a sentence in a preposition.
