Cooker’s ThrowDown Friday III ... 12-18-09

OMG Cooker. is that what you used to look like before you lost all that wieght? 3 parties this weekend probably didn't do me any good weight wise, but I had a great time catching up with friends I see about once a year at these parties, I did better than I could have for sure,so it was cotrolled eating, but I did have to sample the vanilla fudge I made to make sure I wasn't poisoning any of the revelers in attendance. 
My parents arrived today so I guess the holiday is officially beginning at my house and the eggnog has been cracked so to speak! I'm told its good. I'm saving for one glass on Christmas DAy (maybe one glass Christams Eve too...)
Did I mentione the size of the glass Iwas going to use - but only one!
Mary what rotten luck for the storm to pop up just as you were anticipating your son's arrival. That has to be disappointing. I hope the banana bread - or whatever it is you were making was good and helped ease the disapointment. At least he will be home it could be so much worse!
Guess I'll be checking in nextweek, but in the meantime, here's wishing everyone a very Merry Dhristmas and Happy Holidays!

Everybody get it out of their system because come January 1st we start the throwdown lose a thonSt Patty's day Challenge. I'm convinced we will do well. Should we start some wagers on how much total we each think we can lose collecively.

Superbob finally gets it: He (or She) who arrives at the end of Cooker's Throwdown (Throwdown XXVIII or whatever) with the most cookies wins!
Since Superbob is now settling in with a large mug of hot chocolate and his DW's latest, greatest batch of Christmas cookies, he is weighing right now -- reporting that he has lost the six-tenths of a pound he gained the week preceding. NO WAY the Man of Steel is weighing Christmas Eve, Christmas, or the Day After Christmas!
