This is one of those weeks where I wish I could just show and not tell, but I have vowed to keep it real ... I ain’t so sure confession is good for the soul:mad: ... When I reported last week I was four days into vacation and posted a two pound gain ... the vacation eating did not stop when we left the mountains ... there was fudge that had to be consumed (at $12 a pound it was not going to waste:rolleyes:) and to help DW get back on plan I sacrificed myself and consumed said fudge throughout the week finishing it off last night .... Also I have been given a new “task” at work, part of which involves food inspection (appearance, temp, assembly and yes taste) and with two locations this mean twice the tasting of biscuits, sandwiches, pies, brownies, ice cream, wraps etc:eek: .... we sell it, I got to test and taste it ...

I am not making excuses ... as of this morning the brakes are on and I am declaring war on the bulge ... I’m sure all of you have had more success or at least not an atomic gain as I did... up six pound ... peace out and pass the pie....:p

It sounds like The Chimp needs to hire an assistant taster of all those goodies -- someone steeled in the experience of endless seafood buffets and trips to the Krispy Kreme factory before hitting the beach. In short, The Chimp needs the services of Superbob. :p

Cooker, I don't think those 6 lbs. are genuine. There has to be some water in with that. It will come off again don't worry.

Superbob, I'll be watching for your echo results. We must be on the same schedule. I had my annual echo on Monday. I'll see my cardio next Friday.

Today was the beginning of week 2 back on WW flex plan. I'm getting back into the rhythm of it. I cooked up pasta yesterday and divided it up into individual plastic containers so I know the serving size is correct. Week 1 was unremarkable except that I only used four of my 35 bonus points. I used them last night on snacks before they would expire. I'm hanging in there with Curves...still not liking exercise though I know it is good for me.

Goal weight loss: 35 lbs
Loss this week 2.5 lbs.
Lbs to goal 32.5 lbs.

I'm looking for low-cal, low-sodium recipes to make this week now that Nathan's home from the hospital. I'm uninspired thus far. Any suggestions?

Of course, this is presuming I can find a way to grocery shop with twins in tow, since Nathan can't pick them up right now.

Niki, I've got 3 or 4 low sodium cookbooks. Let me know if you want to borrow them to cruise for ideas.

Jet and I will be in McKinney this weekend, and it would be very easy for me to run past your house and drop them off on the way home in the early afternoon either day, if you pm me the directions from Central & Bethany or thereabouts. I run through your home town all the time.

Unless you want to pop up to the agility trial in the morning--schlepping twins.....

You are a wuss Chimpman! I've been known to put on 10 lbs in one vacation week. As Betty said - a lot of that is water and if you have put the brakes on - you should have it off in no time!! You have put the brakes on haven't you???? Just don't give up!

I am down 1.1 since last Friday. How that happened is beyond me! I will weigh in the morning, but we had lightly battered fish tonight; I didn't overeat but it was still battered.

Cindy did not show up at the scale. :p:p

Holy Cow:eek: ... Are you sure you had both feet on the scale?:p ... Great job!!

Great job Betty! ... Sherry hates exercise too but has stayed with Curves and now really loves it ... first time is 27 years I have known her to enjoy working out ... stick with it!!!

Yep, both of those plump feet were on the thing. My theory is that my thyroid med is helping out, but other than that I have no idea how I lost any weight! Actually, I weighed Monday morning (for some crazy reason) and I was up only .6 pounds. You know what I ate, so that doesn't make sense.

Also, Betty, 2.5 pound loss is great!

Great job for Betty; and sounds like Wise got lucky..if you have any luck to
share, send me some please,my birthday is coming up in 3 weeks and I really want to fit into this outfit:eek:

Gnusgal- It seems like the low fat dietary dishes I can do well...but when
there is a salt restriction, thats when I start to have problems. I guess it
takes a much better chef than I am to accomplish it.

Cooker- Try not to cross that 200 mark!!

I am sorry to say I am the same even though I have been eating like a rabbit!

Well, after my fried fish dinner last night, I lost a touch more.

My official loss is 1.3 pounds. I will take it and run!

I am officially up one pound from last week, and almost 5 pounds over goal, at 133.7

I'm sure some is water weight, but the rest is chocolate and restaurant meals. Even one meal per week in a restaurant is deadly to me.

I vow to stay away from the office candy bowls this coming week, and get more exercise (rain, rain, go away).

We did manage to get in our agility class last night before the monsoon hit. That's our 2nd actual class since August! The rest were rained out-What is it with Thursdays? Jet was grateful for the exercise, too.

Great! I was feeling guilty for posting even a small loss.;)

I knew it!!!:D You wouldn't be happy with the 3.5 except it really beats the 6.0. Doesn't context put things in perspective! Now you are probably in for a nice downward slope again.

You peoples is downright dedicated and relentless, ain'tcha? Way to go, Mr. Chimp, and congrats to all others who have lost or stayed the same.

Superbob will weigh in tomorrow morning. Was preoccupied with echo this morning, which went well and was conducted by, ahem, a hot and congenial blonde. Goodness, Superbob loves beach world!

Almost forgot to throwdown my numbers today. I am happy to see that most people did really well this week. Cooker's Mulligan even worked out better !! You must have been up to pee an awful lot last night!! :)

Congratulations Betty - great loss! Do try to stick it out at Curves – you will see results. IMHO it is a good well rounded workout that is easy to fit into a busy schedule. Last week I hit my 500th workout at Curves! I am also using CurvesComplete.com and a Curves weekly weight loss class as my latest diet strategy.

So - for my numbers…. nothing to write home about - just 1 pound gone. It is slow going, but it is going... (insert turtle emoticon here) Just got to try and stay motivated.

Starting weight: 224
Last Week: 208
This week: 207
Weekly loss: - 1.0
Total loss: 17 lbs

See less of all you losers next week hopefully!
