consultant appointment

hi guys, well steph went to she her consultant and well what can i say!!!!!

She had the TOE and he said the news was bad, it was as he had suspected, the valve had been sewn too tight.

He has sent his findings to her surgeon and he will make the decision on wether or not to operation and if so when.

We are so dissapointed with what has happened, and becasue this is the third time they would be operating on her the risks are higher.

He said he might try the cardioversion , but, her INR went to 1.3 last week and it needs to be between 2-3 for 4 weeks, so now we have to wait till the new year for her to even go down that road.
We have an appontment on the 11th Dec with the surgeon so lets hope and pray we get some GOOD news just for a change.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I was hoping, like you, that it would turn out to be OK. Well the next step is the meeting with the surgeon.

Steph will be in my thoughts and prayers until that time.
