sounds good to me. My daughter, Linda, is off school for 3 weeks in the summer so she is free. We have no firm plans and she will be open to whatever in order to get me where I want to go. Terry works days, do you work days, too, Chip? We could make it a weekend if that's more convenient - dinner or lunch - I am open to any time. Just let me know and I will be there. Sounds like fun. I will be excited to finally meet some heart buddies - but don't expect me to click - I don't. But will be glad to hear your clickers. Bring a camera cause we will want to show the pix on the site.

I have next Friday through Monday off and my husband(the heart patient) has Friday through Sunday off, July 1st through 4th. We have no plans except hanging out with the kids and grandkids. Dinner or lunch sounds good. I have never been to Paschals. Anywhere is fine with us. My grandkids go to the fireworks display in Peachtree City every year. Their other grandparents live in Peachtree City.

Ann and Terry -
How is Monday July 5 at 7pm at Smoky Bones - The BBQ place? It's a little less expensive then Paschal's and is easy to find. Ann - I will be out of town till Monday so I will call you that evening or on Tuesday.
You all let me know and I will make the reservations
See you soon
Chip :D

Hi Ann and Terry...
I have had some family issues come up and will not be able to meet you all on July 5th. I am sorry that I can't do it. I will keep you advised if and when the situation changes.
Thanks
Chip :(

I have just arrived in Sharpsburg. Been without a computer for the past week - it's in for a face lift by the computer guy and he picked it up 2 days too early. Just saw this message, Chip. I am sorry to hear of the situation. But I'll be here for about 2-3 wks if we can all make it later. Nothing definite is in my calendar except the 7th is going to be a visit to Granbonny.

Chip, the thing that works best for me is the same thing you do with a fussy 2-year-old. Distract yourself. Look at or do something else, and it just goes away.

Sometimes, you need to wallow in it a little, to keep it real. But when you don't, just do something you're not doing. If you're lying down, get up. If you're watching TV, go out. If you're out, go in and wash dishes or clean something up. You might be surprised how much we still have in common with a 2-year-old.

And as far as Ann's membership, I think it's time that we urge Hank to award her an Honorary Valve, for her continuing contributions to VR.com.

Best wishes,
