I'm going to start this thread as a place for people to give notice that they're available to chat. If they'd like to chat, they can post a comment something like this:

Going to hang out in the chat room for a little while, if anyone wants to chat.

Good thought Marcia, although I believe (I could be wrong about this) members who are 'chatting' a number is shown beside the chat box/icon. Also, if one was to go to the forum page it also shows who is in the chat room.
These numbers are only shown when your logged on.
