I've not seen my surgeon after the initial post-op checks. I do see my cardiologist regularly for check-ups and echos - there's nothing unusual. I was being a bit flippant with the clicking comments, like most of us, the clicking is only noticeable occasionally - it's when it stops clicking that I'll really get worried...

My carbomedics is in the Aortic position - it clicks sometimes, but it is SO much quieter than most mechanical valves.

This is off the subject, but I'd really like to know how long folks have been on coumadin/warfarin. For me, it's been 22 years. Anyone else even close?? - Thanks!
Yep. 51 years......52 in August.
