Surgery
Surgery
Thanks to all of you who posted encouraging words for my upcoming surgery. I do covet your prayers for both me & my husband who had quadruple bypass surgery in Jan. of 1998. He had many complications including ARDS, cepsis, kidney failure, amputation of left leg, 3 times, the last time being right below his hip, all while he was in a medically-induced comma. He is doing very well now, is walking with a prosthesis & 2 canes, and is not on dialysis. However, 2/3 of his heart was damaged leaving only 1/3. God performed many miracles in his body while he was in the hospital--77 days in ICU & 45 in regular room. Therefore, I do believe in the power of prayer. My concern is for him more so than for me because stress is the worst thing for his heart.
I'll let you know how surgery goes when I return home from hospital.
Thank you,
