I agree with Praline. We've been in the upper 30's, lower 40's this week, with rain and misting rain and a very strong wind. It's absolutely miserable. I'm ready for Spring! Yesterday was beautiful. The temp got up to about 50 and it was sunny with little wind. Today was the same, but the rain is supposed to move in again. However, I've heard it will be 70 by the end of the week. Guess I have to shave my legs!

12 degrees this a.m.:eek: Warmed up to 33 now..I drove down and bought some rock salt..Steps just refreezed everynight...Bonnie
 
20 or below the past two mornings. Ice on a small pond in our road as we drove to church yesterday morning about 8:45; still there about 11:15 when we got back. Took pets to vet this afternoon at 2:30 and ice still floating there! Brrrr...........
 
Cannot believe it..Atlanta weatherman just said..another round of freezin rain/ect. for my county tomorrow..:eek: Starting at 2 a.m. -10 a.m..:eek: Hubby has a doctor appoinment in Gainesville for tomorrow.Same type weather.:eek: No way we can drive down there.......More of the same for this weekend........All 2 lane roads from my house in the Mountains of North Ga...down to Gainesville,Ga......Help.. I am so tired of being homebounded.:D Bonnie

We did get out today..and noticed..a few nice guys breaking up our lake for the geese/ect...Frozen..so they can have water to drink/ect....So cold..Admire them for doing it.:) In their boats........We love our wildlife...Bonnie

Hello everyone I'm from northern Ontario and on Monday morning when I left for work it was -40C on my thermometer. Brrrr indeed.

Yikes! Now I feel warmer. :)

Welcome to this Funny Farm. Can get a temperature reading from all around the globe any hour of day or night, and a lot more. :D Look forward to your posts.

Cold?

It was -27 F for a couple of days here last week and that's not figuring in the wind chill factor that accompanied the cold. One of the mountain parks a few hours south dropped to -43 F. Yup, there is a down side to living in the mountains in the winter.
