Hi Gang,

Just wanted to post quickly before I have to leave to go into work, but a while ago I had posted that a friend of mine (another grandmother) Jeannette Huntress had a stroke last November and then her son Bruce had 3 Heart Attacks right after that, well Jeannette passed away Friday, Sept. 16 at 7:45pm with her family at her side...We will surely miss her wonderful spirit and kind heart.

Now for the happy news....Ole Harrybaby is gonna be an Uncle!! Just got off the phone with my little brother and they are due May 7th....I am already plotting what to buy for the little one...gotta inject some of me into the baby somehow...LOL

I swear, if there was a real emotional rollercoaster, I would be on it...one minute I am sad, the next excited about being an uncle....Just wanted to let you all know, and to thank all of you who have held Jeannette and Bruce in your prayers and thoughts...they were really felt by Bruce and his family and I. Harrybaby :D :( :( :D
 
Congrats on the good news Harry! The only thing an uncle has to do is spoil the baby like crazy....then let the parents deal with the fall-out. :D

Congrats on becoming an Uncle..My age 4 year old Grandson from Russia..adores his Uncle Wes..(my son)Wes was at the airport..when my daughter ( his sister) and Hubby arrived from Russia..to pick them up..S/I/L placed Drew in Wes's arms..and he bonded with him right off the bat.Wes is a good/old boy from the south..and put Drew in back of his pickup shortly after he was home. he loved it..I bought Drew a pair of Carhalt (sp)? overalls for his birthday..Cannot wait, until it is cool enough for him to wear them....Drew's Dad ( My S/I/L) is more of a clothehorse. :D and everytime Drew spends time with Uncle Wes..his dad will say..come on and let me wash that redneck off you. :D Just having fun.... I'm sure you will make a great Uncle .Will try to find you a shirt that says, I get my looks from my Uncle.. :D Bonnie
 
Harry, I send you my sincere condolences on the death of Jeanette. I am sure you will always hold her dear to you.

Congratulations on the upcoming addition to you! Hope she/he looks just like you. Keep smilin about this.

Sorry to hear that Jeanette passed away, but at least Bruce had time to make his peace with it. That might be some comfort to both of you.

I have to admit that it's hard to enjoy the happiness of my little brother having his first child after the loss of a friend so dear that she is family. One minute I hurt and the next I am soooooo excited...I am already planning on "Harrybabyizing" my new neice or nephew :D eek: :D

Hi Hensy,

Thank You for your wisdom and your heart during this time, it's just been very overwhelming to feel great sadness one minute and then joy and excitement the next. I sure hope this next year brings us all more peaceful and joyful times as I know we have all been through alot.

I also want to send you ((((((((((Big Hugs))))))))))) as you get through the end of this month, and know that I am hoping you find great peace and closure. As you say: Blessin's.....Harrybaby :D :D :D

I am just beside myself with excitement over becoming an uncle.......but of course I can't let my little brother, Justin know that :p :D I think that this will help my heart heal over the loss of Jeannette, and I pray that God has a special place for her.

I guess as far as my new niece or nephew, I will have to get a shirt that says " Uncle Harrybaby was here" LOL Thanks for the support. Harrybaby :D :D

Harry I am sorry that you have lost a friend. My condolances.

I am happy about the new nephew or neice on his/her way. Life is so like that-tears and rejoicing so intermingled.
 
So sorry on the loss of your friend. I will say a prayer for her family and you.

Congratulations on being an uncle next year. We have 9 grandchildren and we get to spoil them all we want and then send them home. My grandson(14) called my daughter yesterday(his aunt) to let her know he got his ear pierced and to see if she thought Pawpaw would be mad. She thought it was so funny he called her as a go between. Shes 31 and got her belly button pierced this summer. Pawpaw didn't like that either.

Get your niece or nephew an adorable doxie just like my Milady??!!LOL!! I've finally come across this thread and although I was very sorry to hear that Bruce's mum passed away, I was delighted to hear that "Harry's going to be an uncle!!!" Anyway, hope that news makes up for all the sadness you've been feeling right through the whole time she was sick up to this very sad moment. Take care, get a microphone and a webcam as soon as possible, and I'm sure we can have lots of laughs with Milady and Bandit as the real stars of the show!!LOL!!

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away..........I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. I can tell that she will be truly missed by so many. That speaks volumes about her..........

But I am so thrilled that you are going to be an uncle. You can spoil your niece or nephew silly without having to live with the consequences. :D

Hi Janet, and Sherry and Debora,
Thank you all for your comforting words...it was a very sad day yesterday as we laid Jeannette to rest, but we were all comforted by the thought that she is out of suffering and pain, she is in my heart, another grandmother and she is already greatly missed.

Now as for being an uncle.....My mother has already nicknamed me "Uncle Harrybaby". I cannot wait to start buying goodies for my little niece or nephew. Thanks again you all for the support. Harrybaby
