Just got this from him...

'Going to make the arrangements tomorrow. We've decided people have
to wear some colour, not just black and white. We want as many people
as possible to give her a send off. but will let you know the dates.'

I'll be going to say good bye to the little sweetheart.

Oh, it just breaks my heart to think about the pain her parents must be feeling. Please give them a hug from all of us, and whatever day she has her "send off", I'll be sure to wear something colorful and send up some balloons for her, and prayers for her family.

Emma,

How wonderful for Bethany to have a huge bouquet of people to remember while she is in heaven watching over everyone. I have always resisted wearing black to funerals (although I have never had the nerve to wear red). I think funerals should be somewhat cheerful in that we need to remember the good times. It's hard to do so with everyone dressed gloomily.

Colors of flowers and colors of people will make Bethany's life shine even more.

I wish I could be there to see it (even while wishing it was not necessary).

You and her family have each had a prayer just said.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you
AND grant you peace

Both now & forever

Emma, Janet, and everybody,

My condolenses to Bethany's family and friends. I never know what to say in these situations. I was hoping that Bethany would make it, I'd read the posts over the last couple of days. It is just so painful when it is a young one. I don't know what I would do if something happened to little Erik or little Ian. Janet, your post to Dan made me chuckle, picturing a little girl finding an innocent angel to pull their panties up over their heads. I thought girls were supposed to be innocent! Anyways, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
