I'm not sure how I missed this one, maybe because it was on Monday (?), but HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOB!:)

And while I'm sending congrats, let me also offer belated congratulations on 5000+ VR posts.:)

Finally, isn't your first anniversary with the new valve about to roll around too?

Big week! Enjoy!

Happy Belated Birthday wishes, Bob. Hope you celebrated in some special way. Thank you for your invaluable contributions to this forum. You are a wealth of knowledge.

Many happy returns,

Thank you all very much for the birthday, posting, and annivalversary thoughts. They are much appreciated. Back at work this week after vacation last week, so it's been a mixed bag of glad-to-be-working-wish-I-didn't-have-to-go-back-yet-though kinda week.

For a while, I was concerned that the new valve wasn't going to help a lot, because so many different heart issues had surfaced before the surgery, but things are now much improved vs. how I felt a year ago. Most of the rhythm and other issues have dissipated or lessened dramatically over the last few months.

Be well and happy,

So you took your birthday week off from work.......wonderful..! Betcha y'all spent it in Tobago..

I'd like to echo the comments here and reiterate how very helpful your knowledge has been to so many folks going into surgery. It is much appreciated and you have contributed to alleviating so many fears by steering members in the right direction. That's seen in your 5,000+ posts..!

Happy Birthday..!

Hey, Bob. Glad you had a great birthday. Didn't want to leave myself out of the belated wishes. Hope your post second-surgery anniversaries get better and better and that you feel more solid as the months roll by. Sometimes I feel, after 4 years, as if I've just now returned to something normal. I'm sure with 2 surgeries under your belt you will have to be patient for that feeling of whole-ness.

But what the heck!! Celebrate life in the meantime, eh? :biggrin2:

Best wishes.

Marguerite

Bob - Guess I missed it, too. I was also on vacation last week and must pay for it this week. Too hectic to post much. I do want to take a moment to give my sincere thanks to you for all of your contributions, and I wish you so many more great birthdays that we all lose count!

Happy Birthday, Bob!

Happy Birthday Bob. May you celebrate many, many more!

Your posts have been invaluable. You are also an inspiration, with your positive (and fearless) attitude.
