The surgeon just came in to see dad & canceled his surgery. She said he still has way too much fluid on him to operate. I am assuming as soon as the fluid is gone, they will reschedule & do it right away.

I have always wondered anyway why the surgery was not done last month. When dad seen the surgeon for the first time, he had just got out of a LTC hospital for the same problem...fluid buildup. I guess she didn't think the fluid would come back this quick. Surely now, she won't try to wait another month or so to operate!

I'm sorry to hear this,but better to stay safe with all the swelling
