I have returned to work three weeks post-op and so far am getting along well. I walk a couple miles a day and that seems to renew my energy and keep the old body from stiffening too much.
I still have no desire to eat and when I do the food and drink still tastes metallic. My leg is still hurting where they took the veins for my double by-pass; but is improving each week. The bovine-aortic valve seems to be working fine although I can hear it in the mornings.
The bottom line is I am getting along very well and will see my cardiologist next week for further confirmation of my recovery.
