Sorry you had such a rough go of it and VERY GLAD the ER Doc made the right diagnosis.
SO, have you seen your PCP since surgery?
Will you be looking for a new PCP after she
obviously 'dropped the ball' ?
AND, "Curious minds want to know",
What kind of Valve did you receive this time around?
Finally, I'm sure several of us would like to know what king of "cognitive therapy" you are receiving.

Welcome back, buddy!! You had me (and other friends) rather worried when we heard about your situation back in November. I wanted to give you a call and see how you were doing, but your son said you had checked into a rehab hospital for a while and I wasn't sure how long you'd be there. I'm so glad to see that you're back home and on the mend, patched up as you might be!
It's a real bummer of a deal, that's all I can say. I know you (and I) have/had so much hope for this new technology, but at the end of the day, things just happen. And there's not much you can do about it, except thank God that it wasn't worse, and start taking babysteps back towards recovery again. You have been in my prayers. I'll give you a call in the next couple weeks or so, or whenever you might be up for a chat. In the meantime, take it easy, okay?

It has been a LONG time since I've posted here. Sorry to hear you've had such a rough time of it. I too am curious about which valve you have now. You and several other folks really helped me when I had my AVR over three years ago. I'll never forget your encouraging words and this wonderful site!!! I was a pretty sick boy then but feel great now!! Get well and continue on with the good life!!!!
