Just wanted to let you all know that, according to both the ER doc and my aunt's cardiologist, the aneurysm had absolutely nothing to do with her coronary. I made a point of speaking to them both and they were surprised at how much I knew about the subject (thanks VR.com!!!!).

They also clarified the statement about not doing surgery on her for the aneurysm. According to the cardio, it was very small (less than a centimeter) so it didn't warrant surgery "at the time." Plus, their major concern was her blood pressure issues and the Alzheimer's and her ability to survive any surgery with these two issues (I still don't understand the Alzheimer's being a factor, but...whatever). He did say that they were planning on watching the aneurysm and if it grew, surgery would be in the cards. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to watch.

Thank you for all of your concern and support.
