I'm on the list at harefield as well! Still waiting for my pre-op assessment.

Well Mr Fox, I hope I'm not unsettling you with my experiences. The staff at Harefield are all lovely, and I saw a lovely pre-op nurse specialist called Heather, who I then liaised with as my 'fitness for surgery' was worked through.
Yesterday when I was bumped, a nurse said this can happen to patients with family flying over from Australia. Now that would be a b*gger.

The silver lining (I'm good at spotting those) is that I'm back in Monday (21st) and FIRST ON THE LIST for Tuesday

Stand down guys. When I got back from Harefield on Friday there was a missed call on the home phone : Withheld Private Caller, which over the last month has meant Harefield. There was no message left.
This morning a call from Scheduling at Harefield. Bumped yet again by two emergencies. My surgeon has therefore booked two extra slots on Saturday 26th which should be far less bumpable.
So if you could start crossing those digits again from Thursday evening !
That would be much appreciated.

You always have to ring at 2 pm on the day before heading in. Got given go ahead, so just waiting for daughter to pick me up.
