When I prepare eggs for hubby, I use the egg whites and then I fry the egg yolks to feed the birds instead of throwing them. The crows love me and I love their manners!
Normally, when there is only one crow around, this crow crows loudly after I throw the food inviting the other crows to come, and waits until some do come. Then, they all eat together...how nice :smilie2:
Yesterday, it was a different story and I wish I had a movie camera nearby!
I threw the pieces on the ground as usual. There was one crow on the tree. He did not crow! He came down and picked a piece and took it up to the tree. He did this again and again and left the biggest piece on the ground:confused2:
Before my curiousity arose more, he came down again. It seemed to me as if he smelled the last piece :biggrin2: Then he started picking the grass out, digged the soil out and put them aside.
Why do you think this crow did that for?
