Hey

Hey

It was 23 degrees (fahrenheit, unfortunately) this morning. That's really cold for us this early. Enough, already!

Same ole song.....

Same ole song.....

I seem to remember a similar thread about the weather some months ago - Looks like history is repeating itself in that the only good weather in the world seems to be in South Texas.....well, according to Sheezabragger or whatever her name is.

Actually here in Norn Iron (that's Northern Ireland, spoken with a Norn Iron accent) we've had a fine September....no rain worth talking about, temps in the 60's which makes us as hardy as the Canadians and my Texas bluebonnets are in full bloom. It's so warm they think it's spring.

So if y'all wanna come live here you will find nice folks who state the facts, not 'brag their a$$ off'........hahaha

It ain't braggin when it's true. Ha!:D
Sunny and warm in North Texas today:)

I've lived outside New York, Chicago, and St Louis............love the warmer weather and have a warm spot in my heart for the Mets, Cubs, and Cardinals. Maybe the Cubs could send the Rangers some pitching?????????

I'm happy to see Pudge in the post season limelight.

Tom - you werent here last year when my little sister and her husband moved in October from Dallas to Westchester, NY (right by Buffalo). Both are true southerners (well, he's a Texan and she's southern) and hadn't experienced a lot of snow. It began to snow right off when they got there and finally they moved on back home in April or May of this year and it snowed right up til they moved home! Biggest snowy winter they had ever had up younderways since they'd been keepin track. They are happily ensconced in their Texas home once again and found out that it has already snowed up there where they were. Guess we aren't as tough as our northern neighbors! Eh, Nancy?

Hopfully the Cubs won't send any of their pitching staff your way. Well, maybe Antonio Alfonseca.

Oh, you guys are such a bunch of wusses. Ya'll all need warm weather to keep those ole bones from a-creakin' around. LOL.

Come on up North, where the hardy folks reside, see what the REAL world is all about. Bring your snowblower, shovel, roof rake, tire chains and 4-wheel drive, plus your snow shoes, snorkel parka and stocking hat, and your Timberland insulated boots with insulated sox, and a heated cushy for your tushy. Don't forget your double-lined mittens and ski mask, and sun glasses, so you won't get snow-blind. Might need snowshoes too.
