Yes, I saw the national news and the cold front is from Canada. Not from us in Alaska! It is a balmy 50 degrees and raining [thank goodness it is above freezing or we'd have 8 inches of snow on the ground by now].
Ross:
I just had to laugh out loud at your avator. My girlfriend in Virginia last week sent me a dozen funny photos of cats in action and yours was one of them. That is one tough cat, trying to tackle a toddler! Now try to say that 3 times fast!
In your avator.. He does the same thing to us..Hubby was pulling tall weeds last week and he came right up thru the middle and grabbed him He loves to hide behind flowers and jump my dog (on a leash) and hang onto leash. I have 4 new love bites from him hiding under covers last night when I got into bed..Grabbed my arm But, we do love him He is solid black with big green eyes. Bonnie
Bonnie:
It's still hot in the Phoenix, Arizona area. We are expecting 104 degrees today. When it gets way down to 65 degrees, I need the warm, wool, winter coat.
Regards,
Blanche
We got rid of nutcase and all the new babies. We kept 2 from the first litter and man are they getting big. Puff weighs almost 10 pounds, Sam is almost 6 pounds, and they aren't even a full 6 months old yet. They go to get sterilized on the 20th!
Wish...but, no, just the big black cat. Watching him now..spread out on den window table. In between books and pictures. Usually, spread out on Dining room table. I'm going to try to sneak off to bedroom soon. Hope. he is worn out from hissing at all the large dogs being walked down road tonight. The owners are scared of him Afraid, he is going to jump their big dogs. Bonnie
You know, I'd like to know what part of the airport they have the thermometer placed at because they say it's 44F but my thermometer says it's 39F and I'm only 2 miles away from the hot and humid aerodrome.
Then again, what would you expect in Minnesnowta? It's 10:25 pm, and it's 34* at the moment.
I'm still counting on 70* tomorrow though ! It's our 3rd wedding anniversary, and the day we got married was absolutely gorgeous, as were our first and second anniversaries, it's been in the 70's every year. So I'm gonna keep believing the weatherman is just plain WRONG! Do you think it will work?
and I am loving it. Fall is my favorite time of year. We have had 2 fires in the fireplace already. Usually it's not cold enough for a few weeks yet. It's been too cold to use the outdoor fireplace though. We only used that once this year and that was in the middle of summer.
but I am always cold.........I freeze year round! My husband is always warm, so it is always a battle. I have my down puff on my bed now with my flannel sheets so that I can stay warm while I sleep....................sigh...............nice and comfy!
Sorry Ross, you can't blame the cold on us this time. We should hit about 70F this week. Wooo-Hoooo! I shouldn't say that because I understand it's pretty chilly in Eastern Canada.
