Can you imagine how a reunion of St. Jude Valve recipients in a small room would sound?

Now that made me laugh.

I would love to get some hipnosis to help me not hear this thing, I hate the clicking; it makes me feel patched up. On the other hand, I am still fine with the type valve I got.

I have "clicky"nights too, and they can be loud and annoying, but I try to think of my click as more of a comforting sound than annoying -- without that click I would probably be dead. It kind of helps if you look at it this way. I also get really annoyced with my pacemaker.. it still feels strange under my skin and sometimes I despite it...but then I look at another way -- without it, I would probably be dead. Any situation seems better if you look at it that way!
Good luck with this! You are not alone!

I remember the first two months of the night clicks. That was till I got used to it. Now, ever now and then will I hear it. It is a good sound.
