Another Surgery!

I can't get them on, my legs are too swollen.

We just got home about an hour ago. The surgery went well - they noticed his heart doing something funny during the surgery but today they had a cardiac dr come and look at his reports and he didn't see anything that concerned him. The sore on his ear was big and the dr had to cut 7 layers of skin to get it all. We have a recheck on Monday - so on the road again.

Hey All,
I want to Thank You for all your thoughts, prayers and concerns.
I am still very sore and can't take a bath yet. I have had to take more pain pills for this than I did after OHS. We go back up to Ft. Collins tomorrow for a follow up checkup. I sure hope I get to take the nice head dressing off.
Again, thanks to all of you. You are the BEST!

Glad to here from you personally. Amazing what various body areas can cause massive amounts of pain.

Glad you are home and this is behind you. I had Moh surgery on my nose several years ago and it's not fun, and they only had to do one layer!

I just got back from the Dr. and they changed my dressing and I have to have it on until next Monday that is when I get my stitches out. The Dr. also wants me to have a CT scan to make sure the cancer did not spread into my neck. He said they got it all but just wants to make sure.
So here is my new Head Dress.
