Boy, I can't believe Cort beat me to posting...........
Always a day late and a dollar short (well, make that several dollars short)....................sigh!
Anyway, yes, it was a fabulous evening................really MAHHHH-VELOUS, darling! I can't tell you how much fun it was to finally meet some online friends face-to-face - it almost felt like a "coming home" party! A little emotional, too, I must admit when I finally got to meet Cort, whom I have been conversing with for well over three years now and has rallied us on through two of Katie's three surgeries, and Niki, our mentor and hero (okay, heroine, if you insist!)!!! And we made it through the evening without Katie stripping or flying off into the fountain, so that really was something! But our dear Marsha (Catwoman) is keeping really quiet about something................. we got to see her book in print!!! While I didn't get to read her chapter in its entirety, obviously, it was both entertaining, and informative - I just loved her witty subheadings! So, for those of you who are catlovers, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Okay, I am going to attempt to post some more pictures. If they don't show up, you know I was unsuccesful, and they will have to wait until Don gets back from Fort Sam on Friday.
