Angiogram on Monday..Then Surgery Will be Scheduled ASAP

Well...I scheduled my angiogram for Monday Nov. 1st. Wish me luck. Im hoping to have the AVR surgery done on Nov. 15th. Im getting very nervous with all of this coming up so fast. I had a meltdown this morning. The tears were flowing. I just want this to all be over with.

I understand where you're coming from! Try to take it one day at a time. On a positive note, Thanksgiving might be rough, but you should be feeling pretty darn good by Christmas!

I kinda liked my angiogram experience. They played green day and let me watch the screens while they tinkered around in my aorta/ventricle for a second. Piece of cake, honestly.

For the angio/cath the nurse gave me .5 mg of Ativan because I thought that I would freak out from nerves.
