Here's the link to my son's blog. He got a good shot of Air Force One landing in Kansas City and pics of the President getting off the plane. If you recall, my son works for an Ad agency in KC who's building is the old terminal at the old municipal airport. This must be the safer place for the visiting dignitaries to fly in because he saw Kofi Annan at the end of last year.

The first entry you'll see the video. If you scroll down to the next entry you'll see his photos.

In the video, that's my son's keen skills of observation saying "That's a huge plane." That's why he gets paid the big advertising bucks.

Thanks, Karlynn- nice video and pictures. It must have been very exciting.

When he told me the President was flying in and he was bringing his camera - I jokingly said "Don't get shot when the light reflects off your camera lense." Then he writes in his blog that a Secret Service man told them not to stand too close to the windows because there were snypers out there.

We live on the grounds of the Naval Academy. When the prsident flew in for graduation the helicopters landed on the field across a large parking lot and a row of houses from ours. Still we were not allowed to open the blinds in the front of our house or even consider going outside (we could be considered snipers?!?!) Given this I am amazed he was even allowed to have a camera anywhere in the vicinity!
