About Schmidt

Joe and I watched "About Schmidt" last night. What a masterful character actor Jack Nicholson is. His role didn't require as much dialogue as normal, but his expressions said it all. You could feel every emotion.

AGREE! Jack Nicholson is fabulous in just about every film he has been in. His face is very full of expressions and acting super. Also brings out some of the inner emotions that older people go through in life and how they deal with them.Rent the movie!

Just wanted to point out that when Schmidt talks about visiting his alma mater, KU, the campus they actually filmed was the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

When they filmed the campus scenes it was quite amazing to see what when into about a three minute shot. They took almost two days to do it.

The bridge over route 80 is quite the place and if you ever get this way make sure you stop and visit.
