Ross- You're a smooth talking devil, but I'm affraid she's got your number - and mine too. Oh well --------- !

Susan,
Georgia hit the nail on the head. Shopping! :D Forget cleaning. Go get yourself a nice comfy velour warm-up. Pants with a nice elastic waist and a big comfy top. My mother-in-law bought me one before my op and I lived in it for the first 2 weeks home after surgery.

Chris and Ross - you boys know how to make a middle-aged Mom feel good. Now it's time to have your prescription lenses changed.

Hey Rain,
I could have had it worse. At least I had 2 days notice.
Quick question
Out of everything I've read this is the first I've heard of shaving your arms???? Why would they need to shave your arms??? I could see a big hairy guy.

Susan

Some hospitals try to prevent infection anyway they can. Shaving your arm and leg hairs is just another step in helping to prevent infection since your constantly being jabbed for something or other while your there.

Karlyn,

You really do look like you could be sisters!!

I always thought I got the big valve because my heart was enlarged. I think 33 is the biggest one.. isn?t it? Sometimes we take doing things ?in a big way? to an extreme!!

Did you guys know you can go to St. Jude?s web site and request a replica of your valve.. it?s really cool.... and they?ll send you a really neat picture too! I also requested info on what it was made out of etc.

Susan.... yes, they really did shave my arms and legs... and I?m not ?hairy?! I felt lucky to get out of there with my eyebrows! It was an interesting experience.... I won't bore you with details. :D

Ah, thanks Rain. Next time I want to see my daughter split her side laughing I'll show her these comments.

That's so cool that you can get a replica. I'm going to have to check that out.

Susan, have you been shopping yet. We want to know what you splurge on!!!!!

Karlynn
