A wonderful day, and good news!

First, today is the second anniversary of my AVR surgery. Barb & I have decided this will always be a day where we push other things aside and consciously remember and count the blessings God has given us, particularly the blessing of thirty-eight years together. I have been cautiously sitting on some good news for quite some time (by my standards).
First, Stephanie has been pregnant since May! She has had a lot of problems in the past, and I haven’t said anything about this pregnancy for months. But the Dr. Is very optimistic that she can carry this baby to term. It’s looking like Ellie will have a brother or sister early next year. Blessings on top of blessings. Many of you know about my daughter (mostly because of the things I have written about Ellie). But I also have a wonderful son (Eric) and daughter-in-law (Jenny).
And: Eric & Jenny called in the last few days to say that Jenny is pregnant as well! I am looking forward to wonderful day, and a wonderful year to come.

Such wonderful news, Dennis- congratulations on the anniversary and best wishes to you and your children for easy, successful pregnancies! Celebrating our Harry's first birthday today and it is such a blessing! Our oldest one turns 9 tomorrow, but she will be in Sydney, Australia on her birthday and then in Hawaii the next day, so she gets to celebrate twice with the time change- actually 3 times as we will celebrate it again when she comes to visit mid-August!

That's great news Dennis, congratulations on everything.
Been there and done that more than a few times, I know the feeling.
I even take time to send a thank you card to the great surgeon I had.
I do that every year, and I also e-mail all those who donated blood for me.
I don't know to this day if any was used, but it was the generosity of these people that really impressed me.
Have a good one and post those pictures when the time comes.
