A quetion for the Goat expert.

Doe this picture provide enough information to know what kind of goat this is?

He is very skittish as far as people are concerned. Somehow she (?) has lasted several weeks, being seen every now and then. This is definitely mountain lion country, but so far so good.

I'm pretty sure it is a desert big horn sheep, definately not a goat, but would have to get out my mamology book to be sure. If its alone it probably won't fare well for long...Damn.

Well Dennis, all I can tell you is that its kinda white maybe more off white in color In the Canadian Rookies I think we call them Mountain Goats. I live in the Prairies (flat like a pancake landscape) so that explains my ignorance

These Angora goats are found in New Mexico. I wonder if I'm getting warm?

I'm going to go with Mountain Sheep.....the poor thing got separated from it's herd and will be an easy target for predators.
Maybe it's a buck who got defeated in a fight.
