a little nervous

This week I have two medical appointments. One is a long-scheduled cardiac check-up that I expect to go alright. It is one of those 5 minute appointments that the wait at the secretary's desk is what takes the longest. I have no echo scheduled and no real new problems. I have some continued shortness of breath but I think it is getting a little better. I hope to have my pro-time done so I can check it against my own machine.

However, on Friday I have an appointment for a CT of my neck. Earlier this year I had lip cancer, Moh's surgery, and then topical chemo-therapy. I have had a neck node that has been under observation. I am really hoping that this will not turn up anthing and hopefully I can forget about it for good. I have to admit though that I am somewhat anxious although I know God will give me strength to deal with anything that turns up. ( I would rather opt out of this one though...if you know what I mean . Anyway, it is probably nothing, but if you remember, please pray. Thanks

Sometimes it seems like a conspiracy, like there's always some darned thing going on. I think when they get good patients, they're just reluctant to give them up, and pass them on to their doctor friends instead.

I will be thinking of you this week, and of your concerns and worries. I am hoping that things come out well for you, and they will have to leave you alone for a while. Waiting is still the worst part, and you've had to do enough of that for a while.
