This my first post.Thank god I'm alive.It has been a rough week.Hopefully will go home today, just waiting for my blood levels to get there

I am glad to hear that you are on the other side of the mountain. Hope everything continues to go well with your recovery.

No need to rush anything. It will all get easier. Before you know it a month will have gone by and your discomfort will be a fading memory.

The first week or two are the hardest. Today is my six week anniversary and I can't believe how good I feel. Almost normal. Well, a slightly tired version of normal anyway!

And here's a tip which took me many years to figure out. You are NOT a cardiac cripple. You've been fixed and you can come back better than ever.

I'm glad you're alive too! Stand up straight, and keep breathing (even when you think you're "done"!)
