Hi Ron-

Welcome to the site. I see that you've been lurking for quite a while. Must have been disguised in come Civil War clothes.:)

Looks like a fun type project.

Tell us a little more about yourself.

See you later.

Happy 4th everyone! Looks like we are going to have a wash out here in Chicago. Rain moving in and out. Really needed....but it's going to ruin a lot of plans I suspect.

Were having a party tomorrow so I am relieved to say the least. Expecting 50. Wish us luck;)

Have a safe holiday:cool:

Three cheers for the red, white and blue

Three cheers for the red, white and blue

Gonna have cookout, and eat watermelon and blueberry pie, and watch fireworks (or not - we have the same rotten forecast as Gina), and watch "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and enjoy.

Happy birthday to all of us!

Happy 4th of July to Everyone,

I was asked to perform a wedding today, 4th of July, 12 noon at a park.

12noon at the park, all is sunny and hot, many things are set up, the groom has arrived, the bride leaves to get her dress on.

We stand around and wait. The groom is asked if she has reached Ohio (out of state) yet -- many times.

The park ranger comes around to announce that storms are coming through, take shelter.

1PM, the bride returns, all in white, with bridesmaids, as the rain starts.

Skip the beautiful gazebo, all decorated, and instead we huddled behind the fireplace in the shelter, because the driving, horizontal rain didn't get us quite so wet there.

I skipped at least half of the service, but did pronounce them husband and wife. Then they tried to light to soaked unity candles....

Anyone want to get married? I've still got half a wedding service left, unused.

Love it...Both look like little Indians tonight sooo brown..Hope all stay safe. Son is making midnight arrests everynight. Keep the drunks off the road.Bonnie
