12 Years Old - My Valve is Growing Up

12 years ago today, I had a shiny new St. Jude implanted to replace my old Bjork-Shiley recalled valve. Seems like just yesterday Jude was just a baby and now it is almost a teenager. They sure grow up fast these days.
I am grateful every day for the 25 years I have had since my first OHS. Each of those years are so very precious and I know I am lucky to still be on this earth.
Thanks for letting me be part of this family.

Thanks all. I am so very happy to be alive and ticking.
This is a great week for me. OHS anniversary, my mom's b-day tomorrow (even tho she passed I still celebrate) and my b-day on Sunday.
I LOVE April.
