I'll be riding with a fellow heart surgery survivor. He just got his 2nd OHS to place mechanical valves where his ross procedure was performed 15 years ago.

Damn you are lean. Nice looking scar there. Btw, it will become barely visible in about 1 years time. Just lather it up with Sunscreen with SPF 50+ so that the scar does not darken. Mine is barely visible, but then again, I have a chest full of hair.

Have fun up in Santa Rosa! Levi's Gran Fondo is a well-run event. My husband did it a couple years ago - about a month after his first clavicle fracture. :eek2:

I didn't notice on your blog... what type of valve did you go with?
