OK about Sept 13 ... I'll still keep posting that date for the CHD Golf Outing ... sure hope we get some people to go to that this year. I keep telling Cathy what a great bunch of people ya'll are ... would be nice to be there to show her .


I'm thinking that we will see more interested in the Sept 6 picnic/Mini Reunion gathering once I post details after I have secured/reserved the place.... After all, if you look at the list above, we already have 6 (SIX) people from ACHA interested ... one even from California .

Today wasn't as bad weather wise as I thought it was going to be ... which was WONDERFUL! And, the company, lunch and traveling was certainly awesome!

Gina (VR), Lorraine (VR) and I (VR/ACHA) met for lunch, Sunday, April 27, 2008 ... and then scouted a few places to hold the Fall ValveReplacement/Adult Congenital Heart Association Joint Mini-Reunion, which will take place Saturday, September 6, 2008, starting at noon, lasting into the evening. Once all details are finalized, I will start a NEW thread ... until then, updates will be placed here.

I have met quite a few "heart families" (parents who have kids who have heart issues) and have had a blast each time I have gone for the dinner portion of the event.

Cort, Lorraine......great day. So nice to get out to the parks. Beautiful location! Will make for a great mini reunion

Wanted to add Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles. Much to do. They have a Zanies Comedy Club as well as live theater available on most Saturday Evenings. Just a short drive from the parks. Schedule is not yet available for Sept...tickets usually in advance. If this is of interest...we may wish to check the web site closer to the date.
