    Pump Head

I am up all night long. I have finally been given some pills to help me sleep. If I don't take the pill by 7 however then I want to sleep all day the next day. I am totally wiped out. If it weren't for cardiac rehab I'd sleep all day and would probably be going crazy. The cardiac rehab is...

To hold a kindagarten back or not?

I feel the same as Lisa does. I am a teacher as well. I would definitely remember the homebound suggestion as Lisa. Don't worry yourself sick....she will do just fine and so will you. Don't forget to utilize your school personnel!

Blue Cross Reimbursement of Coaguchek/Protime supplies

My husband and I both have BCBS and I am double covered. What we have both found is talking with our case manager. If you let your case manager know things that are going on, it really seems to help. We've had alot of equipment covered.

    So when do you?

Hello all, Well I was 8 wks. post op yesterday and have a question? When exactly do you begin to feel good? I don't really feel much different than what I did pre-surgery. I still get winded when I walk up the stairs. I can't sleep at night and toss and turn and then feel I need to sleep all...

    Heart Racing/Aneurysm - Related?

I had some of the same symptoms pre-surgery and for a while....I did have an aneurism when they opened me up. Doc said it was a good thing I had elected for quick surgery. Doc called me a walking time bomb. I am not trying to scare you, but you do need to get in quick.

    Question about diet

I take prescription Folbee which is lots of vitamin B and I've been good so far. I started it way before surgery and it helps with energy so I stayed on it.

    Scars, not Disco

Seth, I am so sorry to hear your surgery didn't go as planned. I have a son that is 22, and at age 9 he collapsed on my bathroom floor with a cerebral brain hemorrhage unexpectedly. This is also after a diagnosis of autism. He is now blind, wears diapers, is in a wheelchair because he can no...

    Warfarin vs Coumadin

Hello all, I've been getting my blood tested at my cardio's office since the first week after my surgery. I really don't want to do the long drive each week, so my neurologist office has agreed to do my testing. I love my neuro as well. In the beginning the cardio put me on warfarin. Today I...
