    I recovered solo, but did not have to fly to the hospital. I did go to a subacute facility and literally broke out within 23 hours, (long story), anyway recovering at home alone was hard but I did it. What everyone has posted are really good idea's. Just remember to keep everything within reach...

    Ladies--bra, underwear in hospital??

    I woke up with a "Surgical Vest" on! It was recommended that I wear it for a month, (which I did), I also bought front closure bra's (for home) with the hook and eye to change to while the vest was being washed...they were softer and held them together for sleeping. In the hospital you will...

    Aren't there any other doctors that will take your coverage in PA or another state close by? I feel for you. I would make a pain in the butt of myself on the phone with the insurance company. I cannot believe that any doc or health care provider would dismiss a 5.4 aneurysm! .....mine was 5.0...

    Movement and clothing post-surgery

    I'm still having some problems with streching for things and I am almost 5 months out of surgery. I stlll get weird tired days, even though I am back to work, I get wiped out by the end of the day...some of my energy is coming back but slowly, everyone is different. I still cannot tolerate...

    Hi Nick, Relax and enjoy the holidays. No prep is needed now. Just know that after it is over you will hurt, but it will pass, and they give you good meds to help.....lol...after a while it just becomes a memory, reminding us that we are lucky to be alive..... Lot's of luck and Godspeed......

    Alot in a year

    I'm so sorrry to hear of the bad year and the prognosis of your pet, I totally understand, I had to put to sleep my shepard last year for prostate cancer, he was my best buddy for 10 great years. My prayers are with you.
