Thanks Lisa, I am taking Naproxen 1000 mg a day (prescribed by cardiologist) he knows I am on aspirin and taking a vicoden for the pain once in a while, but he told me to stay on Naproxen for the duration of the script. He said that sometimes it takes longer than 14 days to feel better. I am on...

Hi, Gina and Lisa, When you had the pericarditis, did you think you were having a heart attack? Today was really bad, I thought I was having a heart attack, so instead of running to the hospital ER, I took my normal meds, which include aspirin, lopressor, protonix, Xanex...then the Naproxen 500...

Congratulations on your new buddy... Not only are the people on this site really nice, but they are animal lovers as as well! All of the the dogs and cats that I've had in my life I've rescued one way or another. My last dog (German Shepard) I rescued from Wall Street had him for 10 great years...

I have been working from home since 8 days out of surgery for a limited time. I find that after 2 hours my neck and lower back starts hurting. I am not nearly as physically fit as you are, but I never had a problem with neck pains before the surgery, or pains working from home full days, before...

Love it:)..I sent it to my friends and told them it was my surgeons....lol

I love my scar(s)! It reminds me that if it were not for the operation .....well needless to say I wear it proudly!

My cardiologist just called me :eek:, (you know that can't be good). But he actually called to see how the NSAID treatment was going for my pericarditis, (it's 7 days on them). I told him that the pain somewhat better, but gets worse at night and now is on both left and right sides of my chest...
