    Looking for feedback...

Three steps forwards and two steps back....... it all sounds familiar me; you feel good and you do things, then you do more things then the next day you feel crapy and sore. It happens, try not to worry. If you can pin point the pain it's the muscles and your bound to have some muscle spams too...

INR level via lab draw vs. fingerstick test

Kolyur, I've read this thread and the results you got from the Coaguchek monitor and the results from the lab. Two questions: 1) are you keeping the strips in the fridge? if you are don't. 2) Do you have the monitor 'set' on INR? The Coaguchek monitor has 3 settings; %Q , Sec , and INR. BTW...

    Coughing Fits after OHS

Perhaps. Tis the season for allergies, that may be causing the coughing...dunno but you always try taking an antihistamine to see if that helps.

    Remedy for Bruising

Cage fighter????? uh no - I'd then have a true excuse/reason for this 6 inch black bruise lol BTW it's been about 6 yrs since the black eye which was caused by an hiding item falling from above my head & the bruise on my right cheek was probably caused by hitting the corner of a table, although...

    Remedy for Bruising

Rather ironic there should be such a post. ICE is the answer, for 10min to 15min once or twice an hour. Like almost_hetic mentioned, I too don't how I get these bruises, but as I type I have frozen peas on my lower back on the upper left "cheek". This bruise is not purple but black, I figure I...

    Stretches

A535 will make your INR go up. I was told by my doc to only use a tiny dap, no bigger than a head of a stick pin 4x a day or when needed.

    Stretches

FWIW: Icy Hot may interact with warfarin, I know A535 does.

    Stretches

How many weeks since your surgery? You could try: - while sitting straight, slowly push your shoulders down and back while moving your neck/head forwards and hold for 10 sec. Then doing the same shoulder movement move your neck/head forward and hold for another 10sec. Repeat both movements 10...

    Stretches

Sick....what can I take with warfarin?

Zinc for a sore throat, I use the lozenges, saline nasal spray and any antihistamine and of course Tylenol is basically what I use with no effects with the INR. Good Luck & hope your feeling better soon.
